David Berceli, PhD is the author of the book, The REVOLUTIONARY TRAUMA RELEASE PROCESS. He’ll be on the show this Friday (Nov. 27, 2009) to discuss his book and his trauma healing process.
As a person who has experienced ongoing trauma through more than a decade of abuse and neglect in foster care, I was thrilled to receive this book. I’ve been doing the exercises a bit here and there and I’ve got some questions to ask him. (I think it would be even more beneficial to do these exercises much more regularly)
I encourage you to also call in or email your questions during the show. People who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder have quite a dramatic level of trauma that they’re dealing with. However, most, if not all people, have experienced some form of trauma or another. So this book and these exercises can be useful for extreme cases as well as the traumas that all of us deal with from time to time.
I have been using these exercises with the supervision of my therapist, who is a registered social worker and has all the necessary qualifications. She agrees that this is a useful process.
I’m thrilled to have David on my show, as this is something that is real and does have the potential to make real, physical, mental & emotional changes in people.
This isn’t the typical airy-fairy content I have on my show (not that there isn’t plenty of benefit to the airy-fairy stuff, I love it!!). But this information is real, tangible stuff.
